This Privacy Policy describes how Pattern Shift Strategies (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and retains personal information when you access or use our website and any related online services that link to this Privacy Policy (collectively, the “Services”), contact us, inquire about services, or otherwise interact with us.

The Services are intended for users age 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

We may collect the following categories of personal information:

  • Information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, and any other information you submit through contact forms, inquiries, or other communications with us.

  • Limited professional contact information from public sources or public professional databases for direct, non-targeted outreach, such as job title, work email, work phone number, or mailing address.

  • Limited device and usage information collected automatically when you use the Services, such as your IP address, browser type, network and device information, pages visited before coming to the Services, dates and times of access, and information about your interactions with the Services, including clicks, internal links, pages viewed, scrolling, searches, and timestamps.

2. How we collect information

We collect personal information:

  • directly from you when you submit forms, email us, or otherwise communicate with us;

  • automatically through cookies and similar technologies when you use the Services; and

  • from public sources or public professional databases where applicable for business outreach.

This website is hosted by Squarespace. We and our service providers, including Squarespace, may collect and process information necessary to operate, host, secure, and analyze the Services.

If you submit information through a webform, we collect the information requested in the form in order to track and respond to your submission. We may share that information with Squarespace, our website hosting provider, and may store that information using Google Drive or similar cloud storage tools we use in our business operations.

3. How we use information

We may use personal information to:

  • respond to inquiries and provide services;

  • communicate about our services and send administrative or service-related messages;

  • operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Services;

  • understand website traffic, activity, and user experience;

  • send marketing communications where permitted by law and consistent with your preferences;

  • comply with legal obligations; and

  • protect our rights, safety, property, and business operations.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

The Services use cookies and similar technologies, which are small files or pieces of text downloaded to a device when you access a website or app.

Necessary cookies are used to allow Squarespace, our hosting platform, to securely provide the Services.

Analytics and performance cookies may be used only when you acknowledge our cookie banner, where applicable. These cookies help us understand site traffic, activity, and performance.

You can manage cookies through your browser settings.

5. Third-party font services

The Services may use fonts provided by Google Fonts, Adobe Fonts, or similar font providers. If so, those providers may receive information such as your IP address and information about your browser, network, device, and the page you are viewing in order to render the fonts properly.

6. How we share information

We may disclose personal information to service providers that help us operate the Services and our business, including providers for hosting, analytics, form processing, cloud storage, communications, font delivery, and related operations.

We may also disclose personal information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect our rights, safety, property, or legal interests.

We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

7. Categories collected in the last 12 months

In the last 12 months, we may have collected the following categories of personal information, where applicable:

  • identifiers;

  • internet or other electronic network activity information;

  • imprecise geolocation derived from IP address; and

  • professional or employment-related information from public sources.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information.

8. How long we keep information

We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

9. How we protect information

We use reasonable technical, organizational, and administrative safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, including if you are a resident of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, or Virginia, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of certain uses where those rights apply.

To exercise applicable rights, email us at info@patternshiftstrategies.com. We may need to verify your identity before processing your request. Authorized agents may make requests where permitted by law and with appropriate proof of authorization. If we deny a request, you may appeal by emailing info@patternshiftstrategies.com.

11. Marketing choices

You may opt out of marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link in the email or by contacting us at info@patternshiftstrategies.com. We may still send non-marketing messages related to inquiries or services.

12. Do Not Track
